0653 hrs., 6500 block Jodie St/ Property Damage, caller parked
her vehicle on Sunday and came out early this morning to find her vehicle
damaged in an unknown manner. Caller did not know when it occurred or how
the damage occurred. REPORT WRITTEN
0735 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave,
Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways,
laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
0805 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. /
Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building hallways,

0931 hrs., 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, while
investigating Officers discovered the driver did not possess a valid driver’s
license. The vehicle was impounded. REPORT WRITTEN
1010 hrs.,

1130 hrs., 7700 block Sondra Ct/ Residential Alarm, alarm was
coming from the living room door. Officers arrived on scene and spoke to
the homeowner who stated it was accidental.
1200 hrs.,
School check/ Robert Frost Elementary School, check clear.
1230 hrs.,
Business check/ Shoppers (Foot Patrol), check clear.
1310 hrs., 8300 block
Annapolis Rd / Disorderly male, caller stated a male was
holding the door for customers and she did want him there. Officers
identified him and advised him of trespassing. REPORT WRITTEN
1320 hrs., 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Suspicious vehicle
occupied, Officers observed a van parked in the lot with a tire low. Once
Officers approached the vehicle they observed it was occupied by a male.
Male stated he was eating his lunch on his break. He was notified of the
tire and was fixing it on sight.
1335 hrs., 7400 block
Annapolis Rd/ Accident, minor damage and no injuries claimed on
scene by any party. Officers exchanged information between parties.
1400 hrs.,
School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.
1430 hrs.,
Business check/ City of New Carrollton Pool, check clear.
1510 hrs., TD Bank/ Disorderly, caller stated a customer came in
and told the security guard he was in fear. Officers spoke to the male who was
not mentally stable or making any sense until he finally stated he was upset
because the bank will not give him a new debit card because his account was in
the negative. He was not happy when Officers told him he had to leave and
can call corporate in order to see if he can figure out the issue with his
account. At this time his caretaker came in and advised Officers the male
has mental issues and did not take his medicine this morning. She finally
got him off of the property, without incident.
1530 hrs., CVS/ Theft, caller was the manager who stated one of
the employees followed a male who they state steals from them often. At
this time they did not see him steal anything and they were advised to not
follow him anymore and call Police next time he is in the store.
1555 hrs., 6100 block 85th Ave/ Residential Alarm, Alarm coming
from the living room motion. Officers arrived on scene to the homeowner
stating it was accidental.
1620 hrs., 8500 block Caswell Pl/ Accident, caller stated there
was a car in the street that appeared to be a vehicle involved in an accident
but no one was around. Officers located the vehicle and observed that it had
been parked in the driveway and the owner left the vehicle in neutral and not
park. The owner was notified and moved his vehicle to the top of the
driveway.
1637 hrs., 5900 block 89th Ave/ Open door, Caller stated she left
over an hour ago for a walk and she does not remember the door being
open. Officers checked the residence with negative results and the caller
stated she feels she just left the door unsecured and open.
1645 hrs., Annapolis Rd at Fins Lane/ Traffic control, lights were
out and State Highway asked for assistance with traffic control. Officers
were able to get the lights reset. Clear with no incidents.
1730 hrs., Starbucks/ Assist Prince George's County Police with a
Departmental. Officers gathered information until the County Supervisor
arrived on scene.
1745 hrs., Lowe's/ Check on the welfare, Officers received a call
for possible fraudulent card activity. When Officers arrived they spoke
to the caller who stated they observed a male who appeared intoxicated walking
around. They then observed him get into a U-Haul truck and drive
away. The caller wanted Officers to look for the male; Officers checked
the area with negative results.
1835 Accident/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd parties pulled
into the parking lot and exchanged information. Case numbers were provided for
reference only
1940 Loud Music/ 7700 block Arehart Dr. / met with resident
who advised he turned the music off prior to arrival
2020 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was
clear
2040 Theft/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd an adult male and
juvenile male fled on foot without paying their bill. The suspects were stopped
at 8400 block Annapolis Rd. The adult was issued
a criminal summons and juvenile released to his father who paid the bill.

0145 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd business as
usual, no issues reported
0152 Suspicious Vehicle Pursuit/ 8300 block Annapolis Rd while patrolling,
officers observed a vehicle make a left on red arrow. The vehicle blacked out
behind Wendy’s. When the officer approached the vehicle fled, the suspect
vehicle was a Jaguar 4 Dr. Occupied by
three black males. The vehicle wasn’t wanted in the county and was last seen on
Greenvale Pkwy @ 69th Pl.
0235 Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd area was clear
0308 Suspicious Vehicle/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd vehicle was
parked in the middle of the parking lot for some time. Contact was made with
the driver who fell asleep while looking for a space. REPORT WRITTEN
0415 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd area was clear
