0646 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Assist the Fire board,
caller stated the apartment upstairs was leaking water and the ceiling was
caving in. Officers were cancelled prior to arrival due to maintenance
being there and advising there was a small leak they were going to take care
of.

hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of
85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the building
hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles, check
clear.
0800 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.
0830 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.
0920 hrs., 7500 block
Riverdale Rd/ Missing vehicle, caller stated that her vehicle was missing from
where she parked it last night. Officers finally managed to gather
information and locate the vehicle; it was towed for not having tags. The
caller was advised of the location of her vehicle and given the information to
get it back.
0930 hrs., 5800 block Mentana
St/ Disorderly Person, caller stated that her grandson was destroying the house
and has a warrant out for his arrest. When Officers arrived caller
advised he had already left the scene and just knocked a few things off of the
shelves but did not break anything. She was advised on what she needed to
do, also he was checked for warrants with negative results.
1004 hrs., 8200 block
Annapolis Rd/ Check on the Welfare, caller stated there was a male lying in the
back of the business passed out. Officers checked on the male and it was
one of the local homeless who was sleeping in the grass area. He was
offered medical assistance but refused. He was sent on his way.
1018 hrs., 7-11/ Theft, caller
stated a male was stealing items from the store. Officers were given the description
of the male and officers canvassed the area and located the male.
Officers were not able to get exactly what items were taken from the employees
so Officers stopped the male further down the street for identification
purposes. The male appeared to have possibly eaten any items he stole
from the 7-11 prior to Officers stopping him. The male was identified and
advised of Trespass. REPORT

1101 hrs., 5400 block 85th Ave
/ Accident, caller stated the accident occurred earlier today. As
Officers were speaking to him the caller stated the accident occurred on
Muirkirk Rd (Laurel), Officers advised him that was not in our jurisdiction and
they needed to contact Prince George's County Police.
1110 hrs., 8000 block Legation
St/ Check on the welfare, neighbor called and stated her elderly neighbor had
fallen this morning but when she went to check on her she did not answer the
door. Officers were able to make contact with the female and she was in
good condition and did not require any medical services.
1151 hrs., TD Bank/ Fraud,
bank called stating there was a male attempting to withdrawal a significant
amount of money from an account opened in another state. The bank staff
then discovered he was in possession of a fake identification as well.
Prior to Officers arrival the male exited the bank and fled the area, leaving
behind his information. Officers subsequently stopped the male at the
Shell Station and placed him under arrest.
REPORT WRITTEN
1235 hrs., 8600 block Annapolis Rd/ Check on Welfare, caller
stated they saw what they believed to be an adult sitting on a small child then
spitting on them. Officers located the apartment and spoke to the male at
the apartment and the children and all of them stated nothing happened.
All the children looked in good health and did not look like any of the above
had occurred to them. All parties were cooperative and advised of why we
were there.
1305 hrs., 8000 block Annapolis Rd/ Commercial Alarm, alarm
company advised the alarm was coming from the daycare room. Officers
arrived on scene and spoke to the cleaning crew who stated they believed they
shut the alarm off correctly but may have not been fast enough. The room
and building were checked and the cleaning crew was advised to let who was in
charge of the church know about the accidental alarm.
1440 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Disorderly, caller stated
they did not get back the correct amount of money they were owed. Caller
stated she was owed a refund but the clerk refused to give it to her all in
cash. When we spoke to the employee she advised she did not have that
much cash in her drawer and the service was paid on a credit card and cash is
not to be refunded anyway. The employee gave them an amount of money
that she had in the drawer and then refund the rest on the card, again they were
not satisfied. Citizens in the lobby stopped Officers and advised the
caller was yelling and very rude to the employee. The employee stated she
did not want to attempt to deal with the caller anymore today so she gave the
number for her to contact the owner on Monday morning. The caller was
upset and not satisfied with the response. Caller was sent on their way.
1510 hrs., 8300 block Annapolis Rd/ Return call, caller stated
she wanted a Supervisor so they can report Officer Misconduct. Supervisor
responded to the scene and there was no one there to speak to the
Supervisor. Caller was unable to be contacted.
1540 hrs., 8000 block Powhatan St/ Parking complaint, caller
stated there were people working on their vehicles in the middle of the
street. Officers checked the area and located the vehicle and the persons
working on it. Officers observed they were attempting to change a tire
that was flat but the vehicle was parked legally along the roadway (not in the
middle of the roadway). Officers were told the tire was flat and they
were unable to move it until it was changed. Officers advised them if
they had any other repairs they had to move it to the driveway.

hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of
Karen Elaine Dr. / Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in the
building hallways, laundry rooms, front of buildings and around the vehicles,
check clear.
1735 hrs., Chipotle/ Check on the welfare,
caller stated they observed a male grabbing a child by the jacket.
Officers arrived on scene and spoke to employees who advised it was a father
disciplining his child and no one observed him get hurt by the father.
The male and all the children were gone prior to Officers arrival.
1840 Premise Check/ 85th Ave Apts. / area was
clear, no suspicious activity observed
1958 Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd no issues,
business as usual
2030 Fight/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd no fight a
disorderly customer who left prior to arrival
2045 Disabled Motorist/ 5400 block 85th Ave vehicle was pushed
out of the road
2146 Stolen Auto/ 5300 block 85th Ave complainant advised
her Dodge Charger is not in the parking lot. Upon arrival, the complainant
advised dispatch the vehicle was towed
2237 Premise Check/ 8100 block Gavin St area was clear
2315 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd no issues,
business as usual
2340 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd rear gate was
left open. No security on premises at this time
2355 Warrant
Arrest/ 8400 block Annapolis Rd driver completed
a traffic infraction. The driver had an open warrant through Maryland
Transportation Police for driving on suspended license. The subject was
transported to Dept. of Corrections Regional Processing for service of warrant.

0210 Premise Check/ 8100 block Annapolis Rd area was clear,
no security on premises rear gate was open
0220 Check
Welfare/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd - caller advised
someone was trying to hurt her. Officers made contact with a lethargic female.
EMS responded and transported her to the hospital. Her children were released
to their father. REPORT WRITTEN
0410 Tow Dispute/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd while checking
the parking lot. An officer observed a car being towed. After making contact,
parties agreed to pay the drop fee.
