auto 8600 block Powhatan Street caller reported he parked his vehicle
at approximately 2130 hours on 07/09/17. Upon his return he observed his
vehicles tires slash. He was provided with case numbers and advised to contact
his insurance company. REPORT WRITTEN.
0730 hours Accident
Annapolis road & 85th Avenue (intersection) unit-1 failed to stop at a red
circular signal and struck unit-2. Driver of unit-2 was transported to the
hospital. The driver of unit-1 was ok and refused medical services. Both
vehicles were disabled and impounded by Charlie's towing. REPORT WRITTEN

8400 block Annapolis road students were involved in a fight. Both suspects were
gone prior officer’s arrival, no one wanted to come forward as a witness and
the caller wished to remain anonymous. All clear.
0900 hours burglary
in progress, 8300 block Verona Drive, caller reported while inside her home she
heard an loud (boom) noise from the basement. When she went to investigate, she
observed the suspect’s feet. Caller stated she was in fear for her life and
fled through the front door. The caller stated she did not have a complete
description and was unsure if the suspect was still inside or not. PG K-9 was
requested and responded on scene to conduct a search with negative results.

property 5500 block Karen Elaine The caller reported she left her phone in an Uber,
she tracked her phone utilizing find my IPhone application and found her phone
in the vehicle back seat. The driver was located, and the caller
retrieved her phone. All clear no report.
1012 hours Warrant
service 6016 Princess Garden parkway citizen came into the station and
stated she's wanted through Prince George's County for failure to
appear. The warrant was checked negative through Dispatch. She was advised. All
clear. no report.
1115 hours Suspicious
unoccupied vehicle 5500 block Karen Elaine Drive, an unknown caller reported a
red scooter park on the side by the front exterior door. The scooter was
check for stolen, which yielded negative results. All clear
1200 hours Station
Call/parking complaint 8300 block Quentin Street, Parking enforcement requested
officers assistance to conducted an registration check on a green Honda Accord
bearing West Virginia Registration. Vehicle returned back as stolen through PG County.
PG WAVE UNIT advised they wanted NCPD units to clear to conduct
surveillance on the vehicle. Auto theft will assumed all investigations
responsibilities.
1347 hours Disorderly
8400 block Annapolis road (Fight) between student and instructor. No fight
occurred, just a disagreement, both parties were ok and refused medical
attention and further police services. All clear
1411 hours breaking
and entering 5800 block Nystrom street, unknown suspect entered through an
unsecured sun-room door and then through a window, which allowed entry to the
victims residence. The unknown suspect stole jewelry, money and credit cards,
then fled in an unknown direction making good of his escape. Det. Robinson was
notified and responded on scene. REPORT WRITTEN

Disorderly 8400 block Annapolis Road store manager reported several juveniles
Loitering and panhandling in front of the store. They were gone prior to officer’s
arrival. Canvass of the area yielded negative results. All clear.

Disorderly 8500 block Annapolis road. A dispute between customer and taxi cab
driver. Officers were canceled while in route, Dispatch advised the matter was
settle all clear no report.
1620 hours
Disorderly 7500 block Riverdale road. A dispute between an lift driver and
customer. Officers were canceled while in route. Dispatch advised the matter
was settled, all clear no report.
1733 hours Accident
Annapolis Road and Veterans Parkway. Two vehicle collision, just property
damages with no injuries. All parties refused medical attention, information
was exchanged. All clear no report.

loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1952 hours 8000 Block of Carrollton Pkwy/
Suspicious Person, Officers assisted Prince George's County Detectives with the
apprehension of a wanted subject. There were two other males with him and
Detective Sgt. Robinson went to District 1 Detective Bureau to speak to the
wanted subject about burglaries that occurred in the City of New
Carrollton. NCPD 3 was notified of the apprehension. REPORT WRITTEN

Alarm, Officers arrived on scene and checked the area, however there is no such
apartment numbered 1. Officers checked all apartments with a number 1 in
it with nothing found.
2150 hours 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway
between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the
area. Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior,
possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check
clear.

Rd/Unknown trouble, caller stated they could hear a woman screaming.
Officers arrived to find two males and a female by the park. They were
identified found to live in the area and sent on their way, they stated they
did not realize how loud they were and were apologetic.
0114 hours 5900 block Lamont Dr. / Family
Dispute, Officers arrived on scene to speak with the caller who stated his
intoxicated son was being loud and disrupting his family who have to get up for
work. Officers advised the caller we could not just throw him out of the
residence that he needs to seek the assistance of the Landlord/Tenant
Court. Both parties agreed to separate for the night and not
bother each other.

0240 hours 5900 block Westbrook Terrace/
Domestic Disturbance, Officers were called to the area for a man and a woman
yelling at each other. Both parties called 911 but the male remained on
scene with all of the children. With the Assistance of Prince George's
County Officers, they began to speak to the female half located down the
road. As Officers were speaking to her she sped off in her vehicle back
to our location. After speaking with both parties, both showed
injuries consistent with a domestic assault. Both
parties were arrested and the children were turned over to a family member
(Father of the female Suspect.) A follow up will be conducted through
Child Protective Services. NCP3 was notified due to the children
because the family member kept changing his mind whether he was going
to get them or not. REPORTS WRITTEN
