0558 hours Disorderly 5900 block Westbrook drive, Caller wanted instructions on how to evict his parents. The caller has a prior history with NCPD and is known to suffer from a mental illness. The parents (home owners) were advised to seek further assistance from the District Court to have their son transported to the hospital for an emergency petition. All clear no report.

1005 Hours Premise Check 8500 block Legation Road (Beckett field) all clear.

1208 hours Hit & Run 5300 block 85th Avenue, Caller stated an unknown suspect struck her vehicle and fled in an unknown direction. Further investigation revealed the incident occurred at the New Carrollton Metro train station. The caller was advised, and she declined further police services.   

1308 hours Welfare check 8400 block Annapolis road (Save-A-lot Parking lot) Caller reported a man slumped over in a blue dodge caravan parked in an accessible parking spot. Upon arrival, officers observed V-1 in the rear seat slumped over. Officers assisted and released the safety belt to remove V-1 who was disoriented, confuse and did not speak. Greenbelt FD ambulance responded to the scene and transported V-1 to the hospital for treatment. A-1 (V-1's care taker) was located in Forman Mills department shopping, and he was criminal cited, advised and sent on his way. Vulnerable adult service was contacted and will conduct a follow-up. REPORT WRITTEN            

1438 hours Welfare check 5500 block Karen Elaine drive,  Caller reported a female outside at this location appeared disoriented, confused and about to pass out. Upon arrival, we located the female sitting on the steps; she stated she didn't feel well and wanted to go to the hospital. Prince George's County ambulance 813 arrived on scene and transported the female to the hospital for treatment. 

1600 hours Found property 5800 block 87th Avenue; caller reported she found a government issued work permit ID on the ground. The identification card was placed into NCPD property for safe keeping. REPORT WRITTEN

1617 hours Stolen Auto 8500 block Annapolis Road Caller stated he parked his vehicle in the front parking lot at approximately 0900 hours on 07/14/2017 and upon his return, 07/14/17 (1500 hours) observed S-1 unknown had stolen his vehicle. The vehicle was entered as stolen; V-1 was provided with case numbers and advised to contact his insurance carrier. REPORT WRITTEN

1920 hours 5200 block 85th Ave/ Check on the Welfare, caller stated there was a male lying on the ground and throwing up.  Officers located the male, woke him up and discovered he was extremely intoxicated.  Fire board transported him to the hospital for an evaluation.

1950 hours Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

2000 hours 8600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop was cleared without incident.

2035 hours Business check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.

2116 hours 7500 block Riverdale Rd/ Check on The Welfare, caller stated they believed the children living there were home alone because they were making noise and running around.  Offices made contact with the Mother of the children, who stated she and the children were fine.

2130 hours School check/ Margaret Brent, check clear.

2145 hours School check/ Carrollton Elementary school, check clear.

2210 hours Vera Cope Park/ Suspicious vehicle occupied, two individuals were sitting inside the vehicle talking.  They live in the area and were advised and sent on their way.

2225 hours 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

2250 hours Carrollton Elementary School, Suspicious vehicle unoccupied/ While Officers were conducting a check they observed a tow truck with two vehicles hooked up to it.  Officers located the driver of the vehicle who came to the school and removed the vehicle.

2315 hours Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

2345 hours Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0015 hours 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Assist Baker Units with a traffic stop, stop cleared without incident.

0030 hours Residential Check/ Heritage Square Apartments, check clear.

0040 hours 8400 block Annapolis Rd Commercial Alarm, all doors and windows checked and secured.  Unknown cause for activation.

0110 hours Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr. Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0140 hours Residential check/ 8300 block Oliver St, caller asked for checks due to problems with a former male friend, area checked clear.

0210 hours Residential Check/ 8500 Block of Madison St, 5900 Block of 87th Ave, 8500 Block of Legation St., and Beckett Field, complaint of possible drug activity, suspicious vehicles in the area, illegal dumping, and vandalism to the street lights.  Officers checked the area with no signs of the listed.
