Officers made contact with the caller, the mother of the child, who stated her mother was not allowing her to leave with her child. Officers made contact with the driver of the vehicle who was waiting for a friend and was getting mixed directions as to where to go. 0321 HOURS-Theft-8400 Block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a theft in progress. Officers once on scene found that a theft had not occurred; however, management was suspicious of the persons inside of the establishment as they have been known to steal in the past. The subjects were gone prior to officer's arrival. NO REPORT
0447 HOURS-Armed Carjacking-7700 Block Riverdale Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of an armed carjacking. Officers made contact with the caller who stated two males approached him and one of the subjects presented a handgun and demanded all of his property and took his vehicle after taking all of his items. The subjects fled in the victim's vehicle going toward Veterans Parkway. PGPD officers, as well as New Carrollton officers, attempted to canvass the area for the subjects with negative results. PGPD detectives responded to the scene and NC3 was notified of the incident. REPORT WRITTEN
