Officers observed heavy damage to her face and were able to locate the suspect nearby in his car. The suspect was arrested and transported to Upper Marlboro DOC, where he was presented with criminal charges. The victim refused medical personnel and was advised to obtain a protective order for her safety.

The male subject was stopped and detained without any further incident. PG Ambulance arrived on scene to assess the victim for her injuries. The victim participated in the Domestic Violence Lethality Form but declined to call the services. The victim was given a Victim Brochure and advised to seek further assistance through the Prince George’s County Commissioner’s Office for a Protection Order. The male subject was transported to the Prince George’s County Upper Marlboro Department of Corrections for presentation of his charges.
