It was found that the female no longer resides at this location; however, officers were able to make contact with the female and found that she was in good health.

1637 Hours-Check Welfare-7600 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to this location for a report of a juvenile female calling stating she was home alone. Officers were able to manipulate a door lock and make entry into the residence without causing damage. It was found that the juvenile was not alone at home; however, her mother was asleep. They were all found to be in good health.

The County unit was out with 3 suspects, one of whom was armed with a handgun. The male was placed in custody and transported to the Department of Corrections without further incident. Once on scene, officers assisted the Prince George's County unit by setting up a perimeter for the shooting. 2 shell casings were located, 1 victim was shot.
