0729 Hours-Theft From Auto-7800 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to this location for a report of a theft from an auto. Officers met with the caller, who advised their vehicle had been broken into overnight. Offices gathered all available information at the scene and advised the caller on the next steps to take.

1038 Hours-Parking Complaint-6600 Block of Auburn Ave: Officers, while on patrol, observed a parking complaint. It was found that the vehicle in question had a tag displayed that belonged to another vehicle. The tag was removed, and the vehicle was impounded as a result.

After a short chase, the suspect was taken into custody. The suspect made statements of self-harm and harming others. For this reason, he was transported to a local hospital for an emergency psychiatric evaluation. A warrant is being applied for. NC3 was notified of this incident.

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
