Upon arrival, they spoke with the caller, who reported that his parked vehicle had been hit by an unidentified vehicle that left the scene. Officers collected all relevant vehicle details and created a report.
1210 Hours- Welfare Check- 8300 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers arrived at the specified location to conduct a welfare check. Upon arrival, they spoke with the store manager, who reported that a male individual was behaving oddly in the restaurant. The officers then approached the male individual, who claimed he was being pursued by drones and insisted he was someone else. They also contacted the male individual's daughter, who informed them that he has a mental health condition. Subsequently, Fire and EMS were notified, and the male individual chose to receive medical assistance at a nearby hospital. No Report
1251 Hours- Disorderly- 6100 Block of 87th Ave: Officers arrived at the specified location responding to a disorderly conduct report. Upon arrival, the caller informed them that her uncle had locked her boyfriend's belongings inside his truck and was unwilling to unlock it to return the items. The officers then spoke with the caller's uncle, who claimed that he did not lock the vehicle and that the caller's boyfriend had actually done so. The uncle explained that he could not unlock the truck because he could not locate the keys. At that point, the uncle permitted the officers to open the vehicle, allowing the caller's boyfriend to retrieve his belongings. All items were successfully collected, and the truck was secured again at the uncle's request. No Report
1312 Hours- Stolen Vehicle- 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr: Officers arrived at the specified location regarding a stolen vehicle report. Upon their arrival, they spoke with the caller, who claimed that his "friend" had taken his vehicle while he went into a store to make a purchase. Further investigation indicated that the incident occurred outside of our jurisdiction, prompting the contact of PGPD, who then took over the call for service. No Report
1800 Hours- Sig 11- 7500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded out and completed an ACRS report for a hit and run.
1853 Hours- Civil Dispute- 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to a civil dispute over shoes. One party thought he was purchasing name-brand shoes from his friend. After receiving the shoes, it was discovered that they were not authentic, name-brand shoes. The caller was advised.
2116 Hours- Sig 9 - Annapolis Rd @ Ardwick Ardmore Rd: Officers responded to a three-vehicle accident with injuries. On scene, it was discovered that the at-fault driver appeared to be intoxicated. A field sobriety test and a breath test confirmed the driver was intoxicated. One driver was transported to Doctors Hospital for medical treatment. Two vehicles were impounded from the scene for safekeeping and were disabled in the roadway.
2213 Hours- Sig 5- 6400 Block of 86Th Ave: Officers responded to a veh stopped in the roadway in front of the caller's residence. Officers were dispatched at a later time due to officers being tied up in an accident. When officers arrived, the vehicle had been impounded by a private tow. This information was retrieved from citizens in the area.
2243 Hours- Sig 11 - 8600 Block of Freemont St: Officers responded to a hit and run. The caller reported that an unknown vehicle had struck her vehicle and pushed it onto the curb. The caller had no information on the striking vehicle. Officers completed an ACRS report.
2343 Hours- Found- 7500 Block of Riverdale Rd: Officers responded to a recovered vehicle. Officers were unable to make contact with the owner of the call. The vehicle was never reported stolen. Officers checked the vehicle through the windows. There was no evidence that would indicate the vehicle had been stolen. The call was cleared after multiple phone attempts to reach the owner.
