0839 Hours- Sig 5- 7600 block Fontainebleau Dr- Officers responded out for a vehicle in the parking lot for hours with the hazards lights on. A registration check was conducted the vehicle was not stolen. The apartments management was notified. 

 

0912 Hours- sig 5- 7500 block Riverdale Rd- Officers observed an illegally parked vehicle. The owner of the vehicle legally parked the vehicle. the owner was advised.

 

0923 Hours- sig 5- 7500 block Riverdale Rd- Officers observed an illegally parked vehicle. The vehicle was issued a parking citation and was stickered for tow.

 

1018 Hours- welfare check 5400 block 85Th Ave - Officers responded out for a welfare check that was requested by a family member. officers met with the sister of the homeowner who reported she just got off the phone with the homeowner who was having a medical emergency. Officers attempted to have the homeowner open the door. The homeowner was unable to do so. officers and fireboard forced entry into the unit and rendered medical assistance. NCPD 4 was notified. 1233 Hours- sig 9- 7800 block Riverdale Rd- Officers responded out and assisted with an information exchange. 

 

1255 Hours- Parking comp- 8600 block Powhatan St. Officers responded out and issued a citation for being illegally parked. 

 

1343 Hours- premise check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd - Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, nothing was found. 

 

1551 Hours- death investigation- 5400 block 85Th Ave - Officers responded out for a welfare check. the daughter of the decedent normally speaks with her mother every day and today she didn't hear from her so she came to the apartment. the decedent was located in the bedroom. The decedent was released to the family after the medical examiner and homicide were notified.

1816 HOURS-Landlord Tennant Dispute-7700 block Powhatan St.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a landlord-tenant dispute. Officers spoke with both parties and advised them both to seek further assistance through the district court commissioner. NO REPORT

 

1818 HOURS-Lock Out-5400 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a lockout. It was found that the resident's roommate was transported to a local hospital earlier in the day and entry was forced into the residence and for that reason, the door was padlocked by property management. The caller was advised to contact property management to have the lock removed. NO REPORT

 

1849 HOURS-Hit and Run-8300 block Carrollton Pkwy- Officers responded to this location for a report of a hit and run at this location. Officers gathered all required information and advised the caller to seek further assistance through their insurance company. Report written

 

1851 HOURS-Disorderly-7700 block Powhatan St.- Officers responded to this location as the son of the landlord approached the tenant in a threatening manner, prompting the tenant to call police. The male was advised to stay away from the tenant and cease contact for the remainder of the evening. NO REPORT

 

1904 HOURS-Vandalism-7500 block Riverdale Rd.- Officers were advised that the caller would like an officer to call her regarding a vandalism. Officers called the caller who stated she did not require any police assistance. NO REPORT

 

1941 HOURS-Lost Property-8400 block Carrollton Pkwy. - Officers responded to this location for a report of a lost cell phone. The caller was advised to contact his phone carrier for further assistance. NO REPORT

 

2037 HOURS-Premise Check-8400 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted checks of multiple businesses in the area. NO REPORT

 

2108 HOURS-Paperwork Service-7700 block Powhatan St.- Officers responded to this location to serve paperwork to the tenant from the previous calls; however, the tenant was not on scene and the paperwork could not be served. NO REPORT

 

2123 HOURS-Disorderly-7700 block Powhatan St.- Officers responded once again to this location for a report of a cutting. It was found that no person was cut and no knife/cutting instrument was presented. All persons on scene were extremely disorderly and causing a large disturbance. Officers gathered all information from the problem parties and sent them all on their way. REPORT WRITTEN

 

2250 HOURS-Domestic-5300 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a domestic at this location. It was found that the female half was extremely intoxicated and wanted to try to leave the house. The male half, fearing for her safety, took her keys from her to keep her from driving. The female and male half were both met and advised on what actions they could take. The female half was brought back into the residence where she brandished a firearm, still in the holster, and stated she "Could've used it." The firearm was checked for ownership, with negative results. The firearm was recovered and placed into NCPD property and the female half was taken to a local hotel for her safety. REPORT WRITTEN

 

2256 HOURS-Dispute-5300 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a dispute. Officers spoke with one of the parties, as the other party left the scene. It was found that the caller no longer wished for her roommate's boyfriend to be allowed in the residence. The caller was advised on established residency laws and advised to seek the court commissioner for further assistance. NO REPORT

 

2318 HOURS-Tow Dispute-5500 block Karen Elaine Dr.- Officers responded to this location for a towing dispute. The caller was advised to speak with the property management and tow company for more information and assistance. NO REPORT

 

2342 HOURS-Premise Check-8100 block Annapolis Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 

0142 HOURS-Check Welfare-85th Ave. @ Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a check the welfare. The caller stated she could not get to her hotel as the entrance was being blocked by police. It was found that due to construction in D-Sector the area of Annapolis Road was blocked off. The female was escorted to her hotel using a different route. NO REPORT

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
