0731 Hours- Veh theft- Officers were met at the station by a woman who reported her vehicle was stolen from in front of the Meineke. Officers transported the sig 4 to CID in district 1 due to allegations and elements of a carjacking. The sig 4 became uncooperative with the County Det. and walked out during the interview. Officers took the report and entered the vehicle into Teletype as stolen. Report written 

 

0920 Hours- welfare check with CPS- 7600 block Riverdale Rd - Officers responded out to assist CPS with a welfare check. Officers entered the unit with the CPS worker. the CPS worker deemed the unit was not safe for a child. the child was removed from the care and custody of the parents and transferred the custody to the grandmother. No Report. 

 

1112 Hours- Assault - 5400 block 85Th Ave- Officers responded out for a subject in the area who assaulted the sig 4 during a prior incident on a different day. Officers checked the area but could not locate the subject. the sig 4 was advised. 

 

1327 Hours- Traffic Impound. - 8000 block Annapolis Rd- Officer conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle upon investigation the registration was suspended with a pickup order as well as the driver was unlicensed. The driver was issued citations and the vehicle was impounded for being a road hazard. The lic plates were confiscated to be returned to the MVA. Report written

 

1430 Hours- premise check- 8300 block Annapolis Rd - Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, nothing found.  

 

1540 Hours- premise check- 8400 block Annapolis Rd - Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, nothing found.  

 

1636 Hours- Sig 11- 8600 block Annapolis Rd- Officers responded out and took an accident for a hit and run. No vehicles were disabled and no injuries occurred during this incident. Report written

 

1730 Hours- premise check- 8500 block Annapolis Rd - Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, nothing found.  

 

1834 HOURS-Premise Check-7400 block Leahy Rd.-Officers conducted a check of this location for any issues. NO REPORT

 

1853 HOURS-Theft-5300 block 85th Ave.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a theft of packages. Officers spoke with the caller who stated someone opened her packages and took the items out of them. The caller stated the boxes were left at her door. The caller was advised to contact the seller for a refund or product replacement. REPORT WRITTEN

0144 HOURS-Contact Shooting-8400 block Annapolis Rd.- Officers responded to this location for a report of a contact shooting. Once on scene officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the torso and right arm. The victim was treated on scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. Officers attempted to locate the crime scene as this was not the location of the shooting, with negative results. NC4 responded to the scene. REPORT WRITTEN

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
