0835 Theft/ 5400 block 85th Ave complainant advised their neighbor has received packages and refuse to give them up. An attempt to speak with the neighbor was negative
0855 Disorderly/ 6400 block 85th Ave student was having an emotional episode. School staff was assaulted by the child. The child was transported to Children's Hospital for emergency petition. The child's mother was notified NCP170416
1005 Accident/ 8300 block Fremont St PG school bus sideswiped a parked vehicle. Accident written by PGPD
1109 Threat/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd complainant wanted to advised of graffiti spray painted near Giant. She also felt the people who committed that act would poison people. She was advised to go home and rest. Didn't meet the criteria for EPS
1236 Burglary/ 5900 block Westbrook Dr the victim left his residence at approx 745 and the residence was secure. Upon his return he noticed items displaced in the residence. The suspect entered the residence through the side basement door. Suspect stole jewelry, shoes and electronics. NCPD CID was notified and responded to the scene.
1422 Parking Complaint/ 6600 block Auburn Ave vehicle was parked between signs and was tagged by PGPD. No issues, vehicle owner was moving the vehicle
1510 Traffic Control/ 6100 block Lamont Dr assisted with school dismissal for buses
1529 Premise Check/ 6000 block Mentana St area was clear of stragglers. Observed Tony Tran walking from the foot path with a flower pot and planting supplies
1550 Premise Check/ 7400 block Annapolis Rd (A-1 Pawn) checked for any property from above burglary
1630 Premise Check/ 8200 block Annapolis Rd (CVS) and TD Bank spoke with manager no issues reported

1945 hrs., 5800 block Mentana St/ Fight, female caller stated another female in the house had assaulted her several weeks ago and today she was arguing with her about food she had bought. Female caller showed no signs of a fight occurring or injury, some of her items were gathered and she decided to leave the residence and stay somewhere else. She was advised of Warrant and Commissioners Office. The problem half was already gone prior to Officers arrival.
2013 hrs., 7600 block Powhatan St/ Male wanted to report Domestic Elderly Abuse, upon arrival Officers spoke with the male half who stated his wife and son left him stranded at the Dulles International Airport. Once officers spoke with both sides its shows he left theft them at the airport to catch the shuttle home and he was home before they were. Female stated she believes the changing of medication maybe to blame for his false thoughts. Both sides were referred to the Commissioners office.
2050 hrs., Lamont and Riverdale/ Return call, caller (from the Mentana call) wanted to let us know that the female half keeps calling her phone, she was advised to block her number.
2115 hrs., 7900 block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop was cleared without incident.
2135 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
2234 hrs., 7600 block Riverdale Rd/ Traffic complaint, caller stated there was a gray Scion parked in the street that he knows does not belong to anyone in the apartment complex. Officers looked at the vehicle and it was parked legally. The caller was advised.
2240 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr #827/ Theft, caller stated he believes his room mate stole his wallet. Officers spoke to the room mate who allowed us to search his room, with negative results. Caller then retraced his steps and found his wallet. Caller was intoxicated and high on CDS.
2255 hrs., Business check/ 8000 block Annapolis Rd, check clear.
2300 hrs., Business check/ CVS, check clear.
2320 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area. Citizens have been complaining about, suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.
2346 hrs. (0005 hrs.) 5400 block 85th Ave #T-2 (7-11)/ Caller stated his son was calling himself God and he needed to be with his girlfriend Elizabeth, Mother Earth, back in California. Prior to Officers arriving on scene the male fled from the house and ran to 7-11. We then received a call for a disorderly male at the 7-11. Officers responded to the 7-11 where the employee stated a male in his underwear locked himself in the bathroom. Officers were able to talk him out and speak to him. While speaking with him Officers could see there was a mental issue, however he made no claims of hurting himself or anyone else so we contacted Mobile Crisis Unit who responded. Once she was on scene she spoke with the male and determined he needed to be evaluated so Officers transported him to the hospital and the Mobil Crisis filled out the paperwork.
