0030 HOURS- ASSIST MOTORIST- 8400 ANNAPOLIS RD.- OFFICERS OBSERVED A VEHICLE DISABLED IN THE ROADWAY. SAFETY FLARES WERE DEPLOYED AND OFFICERS REMAINED ON SCENE UNTIL A PRIVATE TOW COMPANY REMOVED THE VEHICLE.


0050 HOURS- RADAR ASSIGNMENT- 8600 POWHATAN ST.- REPORTS OF DRIVERS SPEEDING THROUGH THE AREA. VIOLATIONS OBSERVED,
CITATIONS ISSUED.


0120 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLK 85TH AVE.- COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING, TRESPASSING, SMOKING C.D.S. AND DRINKING. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED.

0705 HRS ATTEMPT 1ST DEG. ASSAULT/ 8500 ANNAPOLIS RD/ OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOI TO LEARN THAT AN EMPLOYEE WAS CHASED AROUND THE LOI BY AN UNKNOWN MALE WITH A KNIFE. THE MALE FLED IN AN UNKNOWN DIRECTION.

1116 HRS PREMISE CHECK/ MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- METRO POINTS- OFFICERS MET WITH HOTEL STAFF/MANAGEMENT ABOUT COMPLAINTS ABOUT PATRONS SMOKING C.D.S. AND ENGAGING IN PROSTITUTION. NOTHING REPORTED.


1120 HRS CHECK ON THE WELFARE/ 5400 BLK 85TH AVE/ OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOI TO FIND THAT A 6 YEAR CHILD WAS SUFFERING FROM MEDICAL ISSUES FROM THE PAST. FIRE BOARD TOOK OVER AND TRANSPORTED THE CHILD TO CHILDREN HOSPITAL.

1345 HRS RESIDENTIAL CHECK/ A PATROL WAS CONDUCTED OF THE CITY/ ALL CLEAR

1515 HRS ASSAULT/ 5500 BLK KAREN ELAINE DR/ OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOI TO LEARN THAT THE CHILD STATED THAT HER MOTHER ASSAULTED HER. THERE WERE NO SIGNS OF AN ASSAULT. BOTH PARTIES WERE ADVISED TO VISIT THE COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE.

1656 HRS RESIDENTIAL CHECK/ A PATROL WAS CONDUCTED OF THE CITY/ ALL CLEAR

1825 MPS/ 7700 Blk Riverdale Rd  child wandered out of the residence and was found by a neighbor at the pool. The parent was at the store and was located. PGCPS was notified



2014 Premise Check/ 53-5400 blk 85th Ave area was clear, no suspicious activity observed


2030 Mandatory Traffic Assignment/ 8600 blk Powhatan St traffic violations were observed and drivers were cited


2140 Premise Check/ 8461 Annapolis Rd business as usual


2258 Warrant Service/ 5800 blk Lamont Dr driver had an open warrant for FTA. A-1 was transported to Hyattsville DOC


2330 Premise Check/ 7790 Riverdale Rd business as usual, preparing to close


2345 Premise Check/ 52-5400 blk 85th Ave area was clear, no suspicious activity observed

  0630 hrs., Premise check/ Shoppers Food (Foot Patrol), check clear.   0645 hrs., Premise check/ Lowe's, check clear.   0700 hrs., 8000 block Powhattan St/ Suspicious persons, caller stated there was a person sleeping inside of a vehicle parked in front of their residence.  Officers located the vehicle and the persons inside sleeping.  Officers checked the individuals and the vehicle and observed nothing illegal at this time.  The individuals were advised and sent on their way.  Report written   0745 hrs., Premise check/ 7-11, check clear.   0821 hrs., 7600 block Fountainbleau Dr/ 911 Hang-up, communications stated there was a call from this address but prior to getting any information the phone hung up.  On callback communications stated there was no answer, only a prerecorded message.  Officers checked the rental office and it was locked and secure with no one inside.  No Report.   0847 hrs., 86...
