0639 HOURS- THEFT- 8461 ANNAPOLIS RD.- UNKNOWN SUSPECT TOOK ENERGY BARS WITHOUT PAYING, THEN FLED THE SCENE TO AN UNKNOWN DESTINATION.

0725 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7710 RIVERDALE RD.- ALL CLEAR.

0810 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5440 85TH AVE.- COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING, TRESPASSING, SMOKING C.D.S. AND DRINKING ALCOHOL. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED.

0837 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- 5444 85TH AVE.- JUVENILE MATCHING THE SUSPECT DESCRIPTION FROM A PREVIOUS THEFT CALL WAS STOPPED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED AND RELEASED TO A RESPONSIBLE PARENT. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THE JUVENILE WAS THE VICTIM OF POSSIBLE NEGLECT. C.P.S. NOTIFIED. .

0950 HOURS- HIT AND RUN- 8401 ANNAPOLIS RD.- CALLER COMPLAINED THAT HIS VEHICLE WAS DAMAGED AT THE L.O.I. ON 2/19/16. THE CALLER WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS FOR REFERENCE AND ADVISED,

1022 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 KAREN ELAINE DR.- ALL CLEAR.

1025 HOURS- SUSPICIOUS PERSON- JUVENILE OBSERVED BEING TRUANT FROM SCHOOL. HE WAS STOPPED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, AND TRANSPORTED TO CHARLES CARROLL WHERE HE WAS TRANSFERRED TO THE CUSTODY AND CARE OF HIS MOTHER AND SCHOOL SECURITY.

1048 HOURS- PROPERTY DAMAGE- 8474 ANNAPOLIS RD.- CALLER REPORTED HER VEHICLE WAS DADMAGED BY UNKNOWN MEANS WHILE PARKED AT THE L.O.I.

1115 HOURS- PARKING COMPLAINT- 5918 MENTANA ST.- TWO VEHICLES WERE OBSERVED WITH PARKING VIOLATIONS. PARKING ENFORCEMENT ISSUED CITATIONS AND PLACED 72 HOUR NOTIFICATIONS ON BOTH VEHICLES.

1203 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 6412 JODIE ST.- FAMILY DISPUTE BETWEEN MOTHER AND SON OVER RENT. THE MOTHER WAS REFERRED TO LANDLORD TENANT FOR SERVICES. CIVIL ISSUE, NO REPORT.

1215 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 85TH AVE./ANNAPOLIS RD.- UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2 CAUSING MINOR DAMAGE. AN EXCHANGE OF INFORMATION WAS FACILITATED BY OFFICERS ON SCENE.

1235 HOURS- COMMERCIAL ALARM- 7604 FOUNTAINEBLEAU DR.- PANIC ALARM FROM THE RENTAL OFFICE. ALARM TECHNICIANS WERE INSTALLING A NEW SYSTEM. FALSE ALARM.


1340 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 7300 GAVIN STREET- REPORTS OF SUSPICIOUS MALES INVOLVED IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY OBSERVED.


1347 HOURS- THEFT- 5520 KAREN ELAINE DR.- RETURN CALL FROM SATURDAY. NO THEFT VERIFIED. CALLER WAS AGAIN ADVISED TO NOTIFY RENTAL MANAGEMENT OF THE DISABLED MAILBOX.

1400 HOURS- ACCIDENT- 7900 ANNAPOLIS RD- UNIT 1 STRUCK UNIT 2, CAUSING DAMAGE TO BOTH VEHICLES. DRIVER OF UNIT 2 WAS INJURED AND TRANSPORTED TO PGH FOR TREATMENT. UNIT 2 IMPOUNDED AS DISABLED.

1430 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 7503 RIVERDALE- CIVIL DISPUTE BETWEEN MOTHER AND DAUGHTER OVER A BACKPACK FILLED WITH PERSONAL ITEMS. THE DAUGHTER RETRIEVED THE BACKPACK AND LEFT THE SCENE WITHOUT INCIDENT.


1455 HOURS- PROPERTY DAMAGE- 7101 GOOD LUCK RD./LAMONT ELEMENTARY- CALLER REPORTED THAT HER VEHICLES REAR WINDOW WAS DAMAGED BY UNKNOWN MEANS.

1520 HOURS- ACCIDENT- VETERANS PKWY/ELLIN RD- TWO CAR ACCIDENT WITH INJURY. OFFICERS RESPONDED AND DETERMINED THE ACCIDENT OCCURRED OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS. HANDLED BY PGPD.

1635 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5440 85TH AVE.- COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING, TRESPASSING, SMOKING C.D.S. AND DRINKING ALCOHOL. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED.


1809 hrs., Disorderly/ 6500 Blk Jodie St., the complainant wanted police to talk to his son with mental illness regarding his bad behavior. He was referred to PG Crisis center.


1915 hrs., Business Check/ T-mobile, all clear.

1958 hrs., Theft/ Sprint, the complainant wanted assistance with a theft reported in Bowie, MD. She was referred back to PGPD.

2020 hrs., Business Check/ Shoppers, all clear.


2100 hrs., Disorderly/ 5500 Blk Karen Elaine Dr., the complainant wanted assistance with an ongoing dispute over loud noise regarding the neighbor's infant children. He was referred to property management.


2120 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Point Hotel, all clear.

2250 hrs., Accident/ 7500 Blk Annapolis Rd., unit-1 side swiped unit-2. There were no reported injuries and both vehicles sustained minor damage, information was exchanged.




2310 hrs., Residential Check/ 5500 Blk Karen Elaine Dr., citizen complaint of suspicious activity. An area check was conducted with nothing found.


2330 hrs., Welfare Check/ 7-Eleven, the complainant stated that she believed that she observed an unknown male staggering in front of the business. The subject was located and found to be intoxicated. He was escorted home.

0030 hrs., Premise Check/ Gavin St. & Quentin St., citizen complaints of suspicious activity at the location. An area check was conducted with nothing found.

0100 hrs., Noise Complaint/ 5297 85th Ave, the complainant wanted assistance with a loud noise from a neighbor. No noise heard and he was referred to property management.

0115 hrs., Suspicious Vehicle/ 5800 Blk Lamont Dr., the complainant wanted assistance with an unknown vehicle parked (unoccupied) in the area. The area was check and nothing found.


0150 hrs., Commercial Alarm/ Bojangles, alarm activation of the side exterior. All windows and doors were check and found secured.

0310 hrs., Premise Check/ NC Memorial Youth Park, all clear.

0406 hrs., Business Check/ Darcars Dodge, all clear.

0430 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Point Hotel, all clear.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Report Written 0807 Hours - Suspicious Person - 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd: An unknown caller advised a male in gray was asleep under the stairwell unresponsive. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
