0800 hrs., 5300 Blk 85th Ave / Stolen Vehicle, after Officers arrived on scene they discovered the vehicle was towed for a parking violation in the complex. Caller was advised.
0910 hrs., Business Check/ 8310 Annapolis Rd, check clear.
0930 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1000 hrs., Business Check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.
1015 hrs., 7900 Blk of Annapolis Rd, Assist Prince George's County Police with a possible stolen vehicle in the area. it was run through Impound and tow and was impounded early this am for traffic violations and was in the tow lot still listed as stolen.
1115 hrs. -1210 hrs/ Traffic Detail at Lamont Dr and Fairbanks St, 7 traffic stops made by officers.
1220 hrs., 5800 Blk Oland Dr/ Residential Alarm, Officers checked all doors and windows secure, unknown cause for activation.
1305 hrs. Business Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.
1345 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Blk of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1400 hrs., Residential check/ 7501 Riverdale Rd, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1432 hrs., 5300 Blk 85th Ave / Stolen parking permit, permit was not stolen it was lost in the stack of papers he was carrying around with him.
1515 hrs., Residential check/ 7300 Gavin St, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.
1538 hrs., 8100 Blk Gavin St/ Suspicious vehicle unoccupied Officers ran the tags, the registration was cancelled on them when the VIN was run it came back with a seperate set of tags no where located on the vehicle. The vehicle was impounded and the tags were removed to be returned to the MVA.
1645 hrs., Station Call/ Lyft Driver found a cell phone inside he vehicle when he was cleaning it. He wanted to turn it in, it was placed into property.
1845 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5440 85TH AVE.- COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING, TRESPASSING, SMOKING C.D.S. AND DRINKING. AREA WAS CANVASED, NO VIOLATIONS WERE OBSERVED.
1915 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 KAREN ELAINE DR.- ALL CLEAR.
2010 HOURS- THEFT- 5500 BLK KAREN ELAINE DR. - CALLER REPORTED THAT SHE BELIEVED HER NEIGHBOR STOLE HER PURSE FROM HER RESIDENCE. OFFICERS RESPONDED, MET THE CALLER, WHO COULD NOT VERIFY A THEFT HAD OCCURRED, BUT COMPLAINED ABOUT A NEIGHBOR. THE CALLER WAS REFERRED TO THE COMMISSIONER AND RENTAL MANAGEMENT FOR SERVICES.
2134 HOURS- WARRANT SERVICE- 7600 ANNAPOLIS RD.- OFFICERS ON PATROL OBSERVED A VEHICLE COMMIT A TRAFFIC INFRACTION. THE DRIVER WAS DISCOVERED SUSPENDED WITH AN OPEN WARRANT. THE DRIVER WAS ARRESTED AND TRANSPORTED TO D.O.C. THE VEHICLE WAS RELEASED ON SCENE TO A LICENSED FAMILY MEMBER.
