The subject was identified as a resident of the building. The complainant was met and advised. 1040 hrs. Rainy Tuesday in New Carrollton

Good Morning, Looks like we are in for some rain today! Don't forget your umbrellas!! Here are the Daily Events......... 9/28/15 0740 hrs. School Check/ Carrollton Elementary, all clear.  0800 hrs. School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, all clear. 0810 hrs. Accident/ Annapolis Rd & Finn Ln., unit-1 rear ended unit-2. Unit-1 was disabled and towed. Unit-1 driver was also cited then released. There were no reported injuries. 0858 hrs. Business Check/ CVS, all clear. 0900 hrs. Welfare Check/ 5800 Blk 87th Ave, the complainant states his wife was not taking prescribed medications. She did not the met EPS protocols and the complainant was referred to the court for assistance. 0926 hrs. Theft/ CVS, the complainant states that a suspect entered the store and stole property. October 5-9 Drive Safely Work Week! Maryland has a clear, unified mission when it comes to traffic crashes – to move the state  Toward Zero Deaths . There have been many strides made toward achieving this goal, but there have also been challenges that need to be faced in order to continue making progress. Traffic crashes are tragic, preventable occurrences and making the public realize this fact, in effect stigmatizing traffic crashes in the same manner as crime, is the only way to elevate the importance of traffic safety in the public eye. Employers play a critical role in reaching out to the public, through educating employees and setting internal policies for things like seat belt use and preventing distracted or aggressive driving. Drive Safely Work Week (DSWW) is an annual workplace safety campaign, providing ways to remind employees about safe driving practices. Planning the route you will run ahead of time, or running a route you are already familiar with, will help you avoid the possibility of getting lost. Further, knowing the route, as well as the area, ensures that you are aware of any possible obstacles, such as potholes or poorly maintained roads, that may be harder to spot in the dark.
