0700 hrs., Shoppers/ Suspicious persons, caller stated he was
watching four people in the store through the cameras, possibly stealing
items. When he continued to watch them they were not stealing
items. Caller followed them to the parking lot where they got into a van
and left the area. Officers canvassed the area with negative results.

0745 hrs.,
Residential check/ 7700 Block of Riverdale Rd / child safety in the area
waiting for the buses, check clear.
0800 hrs.,
Business check/ 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd / check clear.
0825 hrs., 7700 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, driver did
not have the vehicle registered properly and the vehicle was impounded.
Driver was issued several citations and sent on his way. REPORT WRITTEN

Residential check/ 6200 Block of 85th Ave, citizen complaint of several
vehicles possibly parked illegally. Officers checked all of the vehicles
and they are registered properly to the address they are parked
in front of.
0952 hrs., 8400 Block of Ravenswood Rd/ Suspicious vehicle
unoccupied, Officers located a vehicle parked in this area. Officers ran
a check of the displayed registration and it came back stolen through MTA
police. The vehicle was impounded and held for processing by MTA Police

1253 hrs., 5800 block Runford Dr. / Residential alarm, alarm
company stated the alarm was from the side door. Officers arrived to
locate the landlord (owner of the residence) on scene. We contacted the
tenant who advised yes he was to be there, the code was just accidentally
entered incorrectly.
1330 hrs.,
Residential check/ Heritage Square, check.
1400 hrs., Annapolis Rd and Veterans Hwy/ Accident, minor damage
to both vehicles and neither party complained of injury on scene. Both
vehicles were able to be driven off the scene and information was exchanged
between parties by Officers.
1430 hrs., 7600 Block of Annapolis Rd/ Traffic stop, stop
cleared without incident.
1445 hrs., 7100 Block of Taylor St/ Assist Landover Hills Police
dept. with a fight. No parties were fighting when Officers arrived and it
was handled by Landover Hills Police.
1505 hrs.,
Residential check/ 6100 Block of Lamont Dr. / area checked for pedestrian and
traffic safety for the children being dismissed from the school, check clear.
1520 hrs., 5900 block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared
without incident.
1530 hrs., 6400 Block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared
without incident.
1615 hrs., 6400 block Lamont Dr. / Accident, caller stated the
accident happened several weeks ago and he was not sure of the exact
location. Due to the lack of information and exact date it occurred
caller was advised to call the insurance company and advise them.
1645 hrs., 6100 Block of Lamont Dr. / Traffic stop, stop cleared
without incident.
1755 Family Dispute/ 5900 block 89th Ave / stepson
and stepfather were in a verbal altercation over the stepfather speaking to his
wife. All parties were advised
1810 Accident/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd / parties
exchanged information with the assistance of officers
2000 ACRS/ 5700 block
85th Ave / suspect struck the victims parked vehicle. The suspect fled in an
unknown direction failing to provide any information. REPORT WRITTEN

Riverdale Rd / suspect vehicle failed to stop at the red signal and struck the
rear of the victim's vehicle. The suspect fled in an unknown direction failing
to provide any information. REPORT WRITTEN
2105 Family Dispute/ 6600 block Good Luck Rd /
daughter upset because her father took her cellphone. Officers sat the family
down and spoke with all parties. In the end, they agreed to have a family
meeting
2158 Threat/ 6000 block Mentana St / complainants
son received threatening text messages. There were no threats made, just phone
calls

2350 Disabled Motorist/ 8500 block Annapolis
Rd / driver drove onto center median. The driver requested a crane who removed
the vehicle

needed to be transported to the hospital for mental issues. Incident handled by
EMS
