0754 Residential Alarm/ 8100 block Powhatan St/ alarm from the key fob. House checked secure, doors and windows were locked

0855 Residential Alarm/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. - Alarm was active upon arrival, however, the Entry and patio door was locked

0923 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd met with the manager no issues reported

1050 Domestic/ 6200 block 86th Ave. - wife came to the house and used an ax to shatter the windshield on a vehicle they own jointly. The wife does not live at the residence and the complainant didn’t want to move forward with charges. Just a report documenting the incident. D. Vivar translated over the phone. REPORT WRITTEN

1115 Welfare Check/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. –  REPORT WRITTEN

1122 Suspicious Auto/ 8300 block Verona Dr. - a group of males was sitting in front of the residence using CDS. The complainant made contact with the subjects and provided a tag and vehicle description. The vehicle is stolen through Mont Co. The subjects fled prior to officer’s arrival. (Suspect Vehicle... Silver Toyota Highlander... MD tags.... Suspects... 2 Hispanic Males and Black Male... young in age 

1452 Residential Alarm/ 6100 block 85th Ave - interior motion detector, doors, and windows were locked. No one was home, unknown reason for activation 

1600 Accident/ 7700 block Riverdale Rd - upon arrival parties refused police assistance 

1840 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

1917 hrs., 8300 block of Verona Dr. / Stolen (Recovered) vehicle, caller stated the vehicle Officers had been looking for earlier in the day has returned with several males inside.  The vehicle was stolen through Montgomery County earlier in the day and was located in the Verona Drive area on and off today.  Once officers received the information, they attempted to approach the vehicle and the driver sped out of the spot they were parked in at a high rate of speed and struck a New Carrollton Police cruiser.  As the vehicle continued to attempt to flee it again struck another New Carrollton Police cruiser.  The vehicle maneuvered its way out from between cars and continued down Verona Dr. in an attempt to flee again from Officers.  Officers pursued the vehicle up Lamont Drive to Good Luck Road and eventually came to a stop when the tire of the stolen vehicle had gotten flat.  Two juveniles were arrested on scene, and no injuries occurred to the Officers or juveniles during the incident.  With the assistance of the Auto theft units from Prince George's County Police and Montgomery County Police Departments the juveniles were transported for questioning and processing. REPORT WRITTEN

2038 hrs., 7300 block Longbranch Dr. / Suspicious Person, caller stated an unknown male attempted to enter her residence.  When Officers arrived on scene it was determined that the male was intoxicated and had the driver enter the wrong address to get to his residence.  No crime was intended it was simply a mistake. REPORT WRITTEN

2230 hrs., 6100 block 86th Ave/ Vandalism, caller stated she was gone all day for work and when she returned home to find her door damaged by unknown means.  Caller stated she had no idea who would have caused the damaged. REPORT WRITTEN
2245 hrs., Carrollton Elementary School/ School Alarm, alarm in one of the temporaries located in the rear of the school was set off.  Officers checked all doors and windows and all were secure, unknown reason for activation.

2320 hrs., 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr. / Information on possible threats complaint, caller stated his girlfriend is being threatened by her ex-boyfriend.  Due to the caller not being the Victim information was relayed to him as to what actions needed to be taken and explained to his girlfriend when she was done work.  He was advised to seek assistance from the Commissioner’s Office.

0038 hrs., 7800 block Riverdale Rd/ Unknown Trouble, caller hung up the phone and Communications prior to gathering any information.  They were unable to make contact with the caller again.  Officers arrived on scene and spoke to the homeowner who stated it was a medical emergency for a family member.  It was handled by fire board.

0145 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0220 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0300 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0340 hrs., Business check/ Shell station, check clear.

0405 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprise, check clear.


0510 hrs., 7700 block Riverdale Rd/ Loud Music complaint, caller stated the TV at the neighbors was up too loud.  Officers spoke to the elderly female living there who stated she was hard of hearing and fell asleep with the TV up loud.  She apologized and turned the television down.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. Officers responded and made contact with the subject who advised he was on the bus all night and needed a place to sleep. The male checked negative for warrants and was sent on his way. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into.
