0555 HOURS- STABBING- 6400 BLOCK CARROLLTON CT. -  OFFICERS RELIEVED NIGHT SHIFT FROM THE SCENE, AND ASSISTED NCPD 4 WITH COLLECTION OF EVIDENCE, AND OBTAINING WITNESS STATEMENTS.  (REPORT HANDLED BY EVENING SHIFT, INCIDENT LATER CLASSIFIED AS "HOMICIDE" AFTER THE VICTIM PASSED AWAY AT P.G.H.)

0705 HOURS- ASSIST PGPD- 6400 BLOCK CARROLLTON CT.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED BACK TO THE LOCATION AT THE REQUEST OF PGPD HOMICIDE DETECTIVES, TRANSPORTING FAMILY MEMBERS OF THE VICTIM TO C.I.D. FOR INTERVIEW, AND SECURING THE L.O.I. UNTIL A SEARCH WARRANT COULD BE OBTAINED.

0945 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1025 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- OAK LANE PARK-  REPEATED CITIZEN COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING AND SMOKING C.D.S. AT THE PARK.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CONDUCTED A CANVAS OF THE AREA, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AT THIS TIME.

1132 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- CHARLES CARROLL-  ALL CLEAR.

1215 HOURS- FAMILY DISPUTE- 6500 BLOCK INLET ST.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION AT THE CALLERS REQUEST, TO SERVE A PROTECTIVE ORDER ON THE CALLERS SON, WHO WAS RELEASED FROM CONFINEMENT AFTER AN ASSAULT.  OFFICERS MET THE CALLER; THE CALLERS SON WAS G.O.A. AND A CANVAS OF THE AREA YIELDED NEGATIVE RESULTS.  THE CALLER WAS ADVISED TO CONTACT POLICE SHOULD HIS SON RETURN TO THE RESIDENCE.

1302 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8300 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1355 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- 5400 BLOCK 85TH AVE.-  REPEATED COMPLAINTS OF MALES DRINKING, SMOKING C.D.S., AND GAMBLING IN THE AREA.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CANVASED THE COMPLEX, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES AT THAT TIME.

1417 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR.-  ALL CLEAR.

1501 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 6200 BLOCK 85TH PL.-  OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR A LANDLORD TENANT DISPUTE, AFTER THE OWNERS GIRLFRIEND ENTERED A RENTED PORTION OF THE RESIDENCE WITHOUT THE TENANTS PERMISSION.  BOTH PARTIES WERE MET, ADVISED, AND REFERRED TO LANDLORD/TENANT DIVISION OF THE COURTS.

1520 HOURS- MANDATORY PREMISE CHECK- OAK LANE PARK-  REPEATED CITIZEN COMPLAINTS OF MALES LOITERING AND SMOKING C.D.S. AT THE PARK.  OFFICERS RESPONDED, CONDUCTED A CANVAS OF THE AREA, BUT DID NOT OBSERVE ANY SUSPICIOUS OR ILLEGAL ACTIVITY AT THIS TIME.

1603 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 BLOCK RIVERDALE RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1637 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 BLOCK ANNAPOLIS RD.-  ALL CLEAR.

1706 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- PLAZA 30-  ALL CLEAR.

1710 HOURS- NEIGHBOR DISPUTE- 5500 BLOCK KAREN ELAINE DR. OFFICERS RESPONDED TO THE LOCATION FOR AN ON-GOING NEIGHBOR DISPUTE OVER LOUD NOISE.  BOTH PARTIES WERE MET, ADVISED AND REFERRED TO RENTAL MANAGEMENT FOR MEDIATION.


1804 hrs., Domestic – 7500 block Sara Street - Caller reported that her child’s father will not give back their one month old / Child left in the care of Father’s mother and both parties advised

1843 hrs., Domestic – 6100 block 85th Place - Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend won’t leave her residence / Subject left at officers request without incident

1848 hrs., Family Dispute – 6500 block Inlet Street - Caller reported her son, who assaulted her and whom she has a protective order against, is at her door attempting to retrieve his belongings. Subject was stopped, identified, and checked for warrants. He had a warrant through P.G. County and was taken into custody/served with protective order (transported to D.O.C. Hyattsville). REPORT WRITTEN

1853 hrs., Domestic – 5400 block 85th Avenue -Caller reported that her ex-boyfriend will not return her belongings / Both parties advised to seek assistance through District Court Commissioners Office. REPORT WRITTEN

1953 hrs., Lockout – 5300 block 85th Avenue - Caller reported they locked their keys inside their vehicle / Advised

2016 hrs., Loud Music – 5200 block 85th Avenue - Caller reported neighbor had been playing music for a long time / Contact was made with tenant and they were advised

2120 hrs., Abduction – 8500 block Carrollton Parkway - Caller reported her mother abducted her daughter / No abduction, ongoing dispute between grandmother, mother and juvenile daughter (advised). REPORT WRITTEN

2212 hrs., Theft from Auto – 7900 block Legation Road - Caller reported that unknown suspect(s) stole the rear temporary tag from vehicle / REPORT WRITTEN

2243 hrs., Loud Music – 7800 block Riverdale Road - Caller reported that resident was playing loud music / Contact made with resident and advised

2325 hrs., Attempt Theft of Services - 8500 block Annapolis Road - Employee reported that subjects ran out on their bill / Parties who stayed behind satisfied the bill and T/A no longer needed police assistance

0035 hrs., Premise Check - 7-Eleven / All clear

0228 hrs., Armed Carjacking – 5200 block 85th Avenue - Caller reported two suspects approached him while he sat in his vehicle, knocked on the window and pointed a gun at him. They then opened his car door, demanded his watch, wallet, keys and iPhone X (after obtaining his passcode to his iCloud to disconnect his find my iPhone app). The suspects then removed the victim from the car, instructed him to lay on the ground while they fled in his vehicle making good their escape / N.C. #3, Teletype and R.S.T. notified. REPORT WRITTEN

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company. 0645 Hours -Premise Check- 8400 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0722 Hours -Premise Check- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers checked the area for suspicious activity, but nothing was found. 0813 Hours -Vandalism- 7900 Block of Legation Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for the vandalism of a vehicle. Officers spoke with the caller who stated his vehicle had been broken into. Officers gathered all information needed and generated a report.  Report Written 1028 Hours -Disorderly- 8500 Block of Annapolis Rd: Officers responded to the listed location for a disorderly male.
