0701 hrs., Premise Check/ 8400 block Annapolis Road - all clear

0744 Hrs., Residential Alarm/ 6200 block 87th Avenue, accidental by the homeowner. The homeowner got up to deactivate her alarm and pressed the panic button by accident. Everything ok, all clear. No report.   

0831 hrs., Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Road all clear

0900 Hrs., Premises Check/ 5200-5400 block of 85th Avenue all clear 

0920 Hrs., Unknown Trouble/ 5900 block Westbrook terrace, the caller who is part of a state housing assistance program. She called police because her social worker sent a maintenance company (Aspen Property Management) to perform work inside the residence and she did not receive enough time or proper notification. Both parties were advised, the social worker stated they were going to complete the eviction paperwork due to numerous rules and guidelines are broken.  All clear no crime. 

1000 hrs., Premise Check/ 7700 block Riverdale Road - all clear 

1030 Parking Complaint/ 8400 block Annapolis Road -vehicle's parked in the wrong places per the complainant. Officer's issued parking citations to the vehicles.

1104 Domestic/ 5500 block Karen Elaine Dr - husband called and stated his wife was threatening him. The wife left prior to officer's arrival and the husband refused police services.

1200 Suspicious Person/ 8300 block Annapolis Road -male matching the description of the cellphone thefts. Subject checked negative for warrants and advised of the nature of the stop. This report will be forwarded to CIU. REPORT WRITTEN

1350 Check Welfare/ 6000 block Mentana St -the resident suffers from diabetes and didn't take their medicine in a timely manner. They were ok upon arrival and refused medical and police services.

1416 Stolen Auto/ 5700 block 84th Ave -caller sent his vehicle to Guatemala via a company approx. two months ago. The person who received the vehicle has not spoken to the owner. The owner was advised to contact the company for assistance.

1510 Premise Check/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd -all businesses were operating as usual, no issues were observed or reported

1710 Disorderly/ 5400 block 85th Ave -subject was sleeping in the laundry room. Officers escorted the subject from the building and sent them on their way
1830 hrs., Assist Fire Department with the Santa Run around the city.

2025 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

2040 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

2110 hrs., 85th Ave and Caswell Pl/ Stolen Vehicle, witness stated he observed four juveniles inside his neighbors vehicle taking it without the permission of the owner.  Once the juveniles got the vehicle they left in the vehicle and approximately 25 feet down the road the vehicle shut off.  At this time the vehicle stopped and the juveniles exited the vehicle and fled the area once they observed the neighbor exiting his residence and approaching the vehicle.  Officers canvassed the area with negative results.

2149 hrs., 8400 block Malissa Dr./ Family Dispute, Caller stated she did not want her brother to take his children because of his attitude.  Both family members were arguing about who the children should be with.  Both parties were advised and Officers were taken away from the scene due to juveniles running in the area and into people’s back yards.

2155 hrs., 6400 block of Fairbanks St/ Neighbor flagged down officers and advised them there were two kids who ran and hid next to a house, not belonging to them.  Officers located the males who proceeded to yell at Officers, use profanity, and fail to obey commands.  Officers finally detained the juveniles who were determined to be under the influence of a CDS.  Officers were finally able to gather information on parents and identifications of the juveniles.  Parents were notified and arrived on scene to pick up the juveniles.  Charges are to follow with a reference to Juvenile Services. REPORT WRITTEN

2300 hrs., Fairbanks St and Malissa St/ Suspicious Person, while on an incident in this area Officers observed a juvenile male walking in the area.  He was stopped and while in an attempt to identify him, he began to yell at Officers and leave the scene.  Officers detained him and finally identified him.  Officers returned him to his residence where again he began to act out of control.  We finally got him under control and he was released to his family members.  This incident is connected to the incident above.  REPORT WRITTEN

2234 hrs., 5200 block 85th Ave/ Harassment, caller stated she was being harassed by an individual in Washington D.C.  No details were given and no apartment number was given, Officers attempted to contact the caller several times by phone with negative results.

2259 hrs., 8100 block Legation St/ Hit and Run, caller stated they heard a noise and went outside to see what happened.  At this time the caller observed damage to their vehicle.  There was no information on what caused the damage to the caller’s vehicle, a report was taken. REPORT WRITTEN

2350 hrs., 8400 block Malissa Dr/ Officers dropped off the last juvenile and they were advised what action they could take with the juvenile.  Information was given to them to get assistance with the juvenile.

0020 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0050 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

0100 hrs., Residential check/ 5500 Block of Karen Elaine Dr., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear. 

0135 hrs., Residential check/ Cathedral, Malissa, and 85th Ave, check the area due to the stolen auto earlier in the shift, check clear.

0158 hrs., 6100 block 85th Ave/ Assist Fire Board, male of the residence was found deceased by a family member.  Fire board pronounced the male deceased and Officers contacted the Medical Examiner, the Prince George's County Detectives, and the deceased doctor.  The Doctor stated due to the male's prior medical history that he would take responsibility for stating the cause of death of the male.  The family contacted a funeral home in the area for transportation of the deceased.  NC #3 was notified of the incident. REPORT WRITTEN

0235 hrs., Shell Gas station/ Assist a citizen, caller stated he broke the key in the ignition and wanted Officers to remove the key.  He was advised Officers did not have the ability to remove the key and he would have to have the vehicle towed, due to being on private property.

0305 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear.

0330 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's, check clear.

0400 hrs.,  Residential check/ 5300-5400 Block of 85th Ave., Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.  Officers conducted a foot patrol of the area.

0430 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.


0500 hrs., Business check/ 7-11, check clear

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
