0710 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 8400 block ANNAPOLIS RD / ALL CLEAR.

0825 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 7700 block RIVERDALE RD (SHOPPERS FOOD) /ALL CLEAR.

0930 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 6100 block LAMONT DRIVE (CHARLES CARROLL MIDDLE SCHOOL) / ALL CLEAR.

1035 HOURS- ATTEMPT SUICIDE – 5300 block 85TH AVE, D2/ CALLER, CONTACTED POLICE COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS CELL PHONE STATING HE WANTED TO KILL HIMSELF. UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL POLICE COMMUNICATION ADVISED THAT THE INCIDENT OCCURRED WAS IN GEROGE SECTOR.

1103 HOURS- EPS- 6400 block 85TH AVE (ROBERT FROST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL)/  JUVENILE FEMALE STUDENT BECAME COMBATIVE WHILE IN CLASS. UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL THE STUDENT STATED SHE WANTED TO HARM  OTHERS. THE STUDENT WAS TRANSPORTED TO PRINCE GEORGE'S HOSPITAL FOR AN EMERGENCY EVALUATION. THE STUDENTS GRANDMOTHER AND A STAFF MEMBER FROM THE SCHOOL ACCOMPANIED THE STUDENT AT THE HOSPITAL.

1320 HOURS- CDS COMPLAINT 7700 block RIVERDALE ROAD (HERITAGE SQUARE APARTMENTS) / CALLER STATED TWO MALES WERE IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM SMOKING MARIJUANA. UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL TWO MALE SUBJECTS WERE STOPPED AND IDENTIFIED. BOTH MALES WERE TRESPASSED FROM THE PROPERTY. APPROXIMATELY 4 GRAMS OF MARIJUANA WAS RECOVERED AND PLACED INTO NCPD PROPERTY FOR DESTRUCTION.

1330 HOURS 7A COMPLAINT- 7700 block RIVERDALE ROAD (LOWE’S HOME IMPROVEMENT) / CALLER STATED  HIS EMPLOYEE'S PUSHED HIM TO THE GROUND AND HELD A PITCHFORK TO HIS NECK AND THREATEN TO KILL HIM. OFFICERS CONDUCTED An INVESTIGATION AND COULD NOT VERIFY AN ASSAULT HAD OCCURRED. ALL PARTIES WERE ADVISED TO SEEK ASSISTANCE FROM THE COMMISSIONER OFFICE. 

1335 HOURS- THEFT FROM AUTO- 8500 block ANNAPOLIS RD (METRO POINTS HOTEL) / CALLER STATED AN UNKNOWN SUSPECT SHATTERED HER REAR PASSENGER WINDOW AND STOLE PROPERTY, MAKING GOOD ON HIS/HER ESCAPE.

1349 HOURS- VANDALISM TO AUTO- 8200 block ANNAPOLIS RD (CVS) / CALLER STATED AFTER RETURN FROM THE T/A SHE DISOCOVERD S-1 SHATTERED THE REAR PASSENGER WINDOW OF HER VEHICLE. NO PROPERTY WAS TAKEN.

1412 HOURS- FRAUD ATTEMPT- 8200 block ANNAPOLIS RD (TD BANK) / CALLER STATED A CUSTOMER ENTERED THE BANK AND ATTEMPTED TO OPEN AN ACCOUNT WITH AN FRAUDULENT IDENTIFICATION CARD. UPON OFFICERS ARRIVAL THE SUSPECT WAS GOA. THE BANK WAS NOT ABLE TO PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION ON THE SUSPECT.

1505 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK - 8400 block ANNAPOLIS RD (PLAZA 30) ALL CLEAR.

1550 HOURS- PREMISE CHECK- 5500 block KAREN ELAINE DRIVE / ALL CLEAR.

1620 HOURS- WELFARE CHECK- 5300 block 85TH AVE/ MALE SUBJECT FOUND SLEEP IN THE STEPS AT THE ABOVE LISTED LOCATION. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS AWAKEN BY OFFICERS; THE MALE SUBJECT REFUSED MEDICAL ATTENTION. THE MALE SUBJECT WAS TRANSPORTED HOME TO 5308 OLIVER STREET WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.


1800 hrs., 6000 block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

1830 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 block of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1850 hrs., Business check/ Plaza 30, check clear.

1925 hrs., Business check/ Carrollton Enterprises, check clear.

2140 hrs., Disorderly/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd (Metro Point Hotel), Hotel staff called about a female becoming disorderly in the waiting area. Officers made contact and the female wasn't a guest from the hotel and she was asked to leave. The female left without incident.

0105 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

0130 hrs.,  Residential check/ 5500 block of Karen Elaine Dr, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

0140 hrs., Check Welfare/ 8500 block Annapolis Rd (Metro Points Hotel), Hotel staff called in reference a person attempting to check in the hotel without a credit card. Officers made contact with the subject and while talking to the subject they express they were felling depressed and was just released from Doctors and would like to talk to someone. Fireboard were notified and transported.

0205 hrs., Business check/ Darcar's Dodge, check clear.

0230 hrs., 6000 Block of Mentana St and the Pathway between Vera Cope Park and Powhatan St, Officers conducted a foot patrol in the area.  Citizens have been complaining about,  suspicious behavior, possible sale of drugs, gambling, and loitering of unknown persons, check clear.

0250 hrs., Residential Check/ 7300 Block of Gavin St, check of the area for citizen complaints of disorderly person loitering in the area, check clear.

0305 hrs., Business Check/ Shell gas station, check clear.

0320 hrs., School check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.

0345 hrs., Business check/ New Carrollton City Pool, check clear.

0405 hrs., Business check/ Beckett Field, check clear.

0524 hrs., Theft from Auto/ 5300 block 85th Ave/ Suspect stole the victims tires and rims by unknown means.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
