0440 ACRS/ 7500 Blk Topton St driver was intoxicated and crashed into the retaining wall of the residence. No serious injuries, driver complained of pain in the side. Driver was transported to PGH by Amb 830. Driver refused breathalyzer. Vehicle was impounded as a result of being disabled.

0820 hrs., 8500 Blk Madison St/ Lost Property, caller stated she lost her phone with several cards somewhere in Adams Morgan. She was advised it did not occur here and advised her what steps to take.


0840 hrs., 5300 Blk 85th Ave / Domestic, female called stating her and her exboyfriend were having an argument and it turned physical. Once on scene we observed injuries to the female's hands and knee. The male was placed under arrest and transported to DOC.

1045 hrs., 7800 Blk Powhattan St/ Check on the welfare of children for the City of New York. Both children checked out fine and are enrolled in Charles Carroll Middle School. There was a communication issue between parties. Communications notified the City of New York.


1140 hrs., Beckett Field/ Suspicious person with possible weapon. Male flagged Officers down stating that at around 0700 hours this morning a vehicle passed him the wrong way on Westbrook and 85th Ave, when the male got beside the vehicle and asked the driver what his problem was the driver pulled out what appeared to be a gun and drove off.


1150 hrs., 8400 Blk Annapolis Rd/ Vandalism to auto, female came out and noticed her passenger side window was broken, no items were taken from the vehicle.

1230 hrs., Business Check/ Carrollton Enterprise, Foot Patrol, check clear.


1305 hrs., Business Check/ Metro Points Hotel, check clear.


1420 hrs., Residential check/ 7300 Blk of Gavin St, persons complaining of suspicious persons gathering and being disorderly, check clear.


1435 hrs., Value City/ Property Damage to a truck, manager stated the driver moved to another store but the damage occurred somewhere in DC several days ago. The manager was advised.


1500 hrs., 5200 Blk 85th Ave / Assault, the assault happened several days ago in Glenarden. The male was advised what he can do, but the ambulance transported him to the hospital, due to the injury was to the jaw.


1515 hrs., School Check/ Charles Carroll Middle School, check clear.


1600 hrs., Residential check/ 5300-5400 Blk of 85th Ave, Citizens complaint of Suspicious Persons loitering in front of buildings and around the vehicles, check clear.

1808 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 8400 Blk ANNAPOLIS RD.- CITIZEN COMPLAINT THAT COZY FURNITURE WOULD NOT RETURN THEIR DEPOSIT MONEY OR DELIVER THEIR FURNITURE AS AGREED BY CONTRACT. THE CALLER WAS ADVISED THE MATTER WAS CIVIL AND TO FILE WITH THE COURTS FOR RELIEF.

1835 HOURS- THEFT- 8400 Blk ANNAPOLIS RD.- REPORT OF A WOMAN WHO TOOK A CUP OF COFFEE WITHOUT RENDERING PAYMENT. OFFICERS STOPPED THE FEMALE IN QUESTION WHO PROVIDED A RECEIPT FOR HER PURCHASE. NO THEFT, THE CALLER WAS ADVISED.

2138 HOURS- DISORDERLY- 6000 Blk MENTANA ST.- CITIZEN COMPLAINED OF A GROUP OF MALES LOITERING IN THE AREA. OFFICERS RESPONDED, LOCATED THE SUSPECTS, WHO WERE STOPPED, IDENTIFIED, CHECKED NEGATIVE, PHOTOGRAPHED, ADVISED AND SENT ON THEIR WAY.


2020 HOURS- PROPERTY DAMAGE- 5500 Blk KAREN ELAINE DR.- - CALLER REPORTED THAT HER SONS FRIEND ACCIDENTALLY BROKE A BEDROOM WINDOW. THE DAMAGE WAS PHOTOGRAPHED, THE CALLER WAS PROVIDED CASE NUMBERS AND ADVISED TO CONTACT BUILDING MAINTENANCE.


2051 HOURS- DISORDERLY- METRO POINTS HOTEL - HOTEL MANAGEMENT REQUESTED OFFICERS HELP WITH THE REMOVAL OF SEVERAL GUESTS THAT WERE SMOKING C.D.S. IN THEIR ROOM. OFFICERS RESPONDED AND ASSISTED MANAGEMENT, WHO WERE UNABLE TO VERIFY ANY VIOLATION AND ELECTED TO ALLOW THE GUESTS TO STAY.


2314 HOURS- STOLEN VEHICLE/RECOVERY- 7800 Blk RIVERDALE RD.- CALLER REPORTED THAT SEVERAL UNKNOWN SUSPECTS JUMPED INTO HIS DELIVERY VEHICLE AND TOOK IT WHILE HE WAS DROPPING OFF FOOD. OFFICERS CANVASED THE AREA AND LOCATED THE VEHICLE A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY. PGPD W.A.V.E. UNITS WERE NOTIFIED OF THE INCIDENT AND DECLINED TO RESPOND. THE VEHICLE WAS PROCESSED AND RELEASED TO THE CALLER.

0955 hrs., 7600 Blk Riverdale Rd / Stolen Auto, Once Officers began to speak to the females, they advised they were in a bar last night when a couple of girls approached them attacked them and stole the keys to the car, then stole the car. They stated they have no idea where exactly they were last night so they could not give us an address to determine where the incident occurred. The one female decided if she was being recorded she did not want to talk to us, because she did not want to be involved in the other females stuff. Upon further questioning the female it was determined that it maybe involving the girlfriend of her ex boyfriend and it occurred somewhere in Prince George's County. She would have to look it up to figure it out, she was advised to contact Prince George's County Police. Both parties were uncooperative.


1030 hrs., 7609 Riverdale Rd/ Spoke with a citizen who had a phone and a gps in his window. He was advised of the vehicle thefts in the area. He was thankful.


1040 hrs., 7600 Blk Riverdale Rd/ Assist Citizen, male came up to us stating he found a wallet on the ground last week. He attempted to go to the residence listed on the driver's license, however they did not live there anymore. After looking through the wallet we found several receipts for Forman Mills with employee discounts. We went to Forman mills to attempt to locate and we discovered her mother worked there. The wallet was returned to her and we made contact with the owner as well.

1625 hrs., Forman Mills/ Shoplifter, male was stealing shoes with a pair of pliers. Loss Prevention caught him and handled the incident. He was checked with negative results. They were given case numbers for reference.


1702 hrs., 7700 Blk Riverdale Rd /Stolen Auto, vehicle was stolen from the parking lot ran through Impound/Repo with negative results. Vehicle was last seen in October of 2016.

OFFICERS RESPONDED, MADE CONTACT WITH THE CALLER AND THE MISSING JUVENILE, VERIFIED THE MISSINGS' STATUS AND HEALTH, TOOK PHOTO-DOCUMENTATION AND REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR REPORT. THE JUVENILE WAS REMOVED FROM NCIC BY PG TELETYPE; S800 WAS NOTIFIED AND SCHEDULED A FOLLOW UP WITH THE FAMILY.

2327 HOURS- FAMILY DISPUTE- 5300 Blk 85TH AVE. - RETURN CALL FROM PREVIOUS RETURNED MISSING REPORT. CALLER AND HER JUVENILE DAUGHTER WERE IN A VERBAL ARGUMENT OVER HER RUNNING AWAY, OFFICERS RESPONDED AND FACILITATED A PEACEFUL EXODUS FOR THE DAUGHTER, WHO LEFT WITH HER FATHER.

0213 HOURS- ATTEMPT CAR-JACKING- 7600 RIVERDALE RD.- CALLER REPORTED THAT A MALE AND FEMALE ATTEMPTED TO TAKE HIS VEHICLE AND BRANDISHED A WEAPON. THE CALLER DROVE AWAY FROM THE SUSPECTS, DID NOT LOSE ANY PROPERTY, AND REFUSED TO COOPERATE WITH POLICE FOR REPORT PURPOSES. A CANVAS OF THE AREA YIELDED NEGATIVE RESULTS.

Dispatcher stated he maybe there and the 7-11 address came up in the call as well. Both areas were checked and the male was attempted to be called back but refused to answer. Nothing found at this time.

0830 hrs., 8000 Blk Legation Dr./ Stolen Auto, Victim stated they parked their vehicle in the top of the driveway with a car behind it last night, and when they checked this morning it was gone. There was glass on the window and the keys to it were missing as well. The area was checked with negative results. The vehicle was entered into Teletype as stolen.

1006 hrs., 5400 Blk 85th Ave/ Disorderly Person, Caller stated she was having a problem with upstairs neighbors putting a smelly substance in their residence and it is giving her an allergy attack. She was advised to contact the office about a possible resolution, due to the fact that she will not go up and tell them it bothers her.

1450 hrs.,. 6600 Blk Chestnut Ave/ MPS assist a citizen, male called stating that his wife told him this morning that she wanted a divorce. He stated he was upset so he went for a walk but when he returned she was not there to talk to and did not know who to talk to about the situation. Officers attempted to get him in contact with the County Crisis Center but there was no response. Upon further speaking to him we discovered he was a Veteran and we put him in touch with the Veterans Crisis Hotline and got him set up with counseling. He did not want to hurt himself or anyone else at this time.

1530 hrs., Cricket Wireless/ Vehicle accident, minor damage to both vehicles and no injuries, information was exchanged by Officers.

1737 hrs., Cozi Furniture/ Dispute over an order that were placed last month for furniture. Citizen was advised of what action to take.

2007 HOURS- OVERDOSE- 7600 FOUNTAINEBLEAU DR. - CALLERS DAUGHTER TOOK THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION AND WAS NOT FEELING WELL. PGFD RESPONDED AND TRANSPORTED THE CALLER AND HER DAUGHTER TO PGH. NO OVERDOSE.

0657 Hours - Stolen Auto - 7700 Block of Riverdale Road: An unknown suspect stole the victim's vehicle during the overnight hours fleeing in an unknown direction. The victim was provided case numbers and advised to contact her insurance company.
